Sydney's CBD/SE light rail project has become a litany of tales about bad planning, and poor goverance and design.   From the unnecessary felling of many of Sydney's most significant fig trees along Anzac Parade, to cost blow outs and poor design and goverance. 

The latest revelations in the media simply raise more questions than answers.  In short, what should be the City's pride and joy has become a planning disaster.  Similarly to the controversary about the WestConnex Project we need to understand what went wrong and how to stop this from happening again.
