Save the People's Park

In 1867, Moore Park was bequeathed to the people of NSW. Now part of Centennial Parklands, the park is of national significance.

However under the leadership of Gladys Berejiklian the Coalition have approved a $705 Million funding package to knock down and rebuild Allianz Stadium.  This has significant consequences for Moore Park and its surrounds.  

The Berejiklian decision opens the way to turn the area into a huge entertainment precinct, and with it are likely to be ramifications for Moore Park.    

Last year we saw the devastating loss of some of Sydney's most beautiful fig trees along the edge ...
